Official Secrets will be shown on the big screen at Ravensthorpe Village Hall.

Official Secrets is based on the true case of Katharine Gun a translator working for the British security services at the GCHQ surveillance unit in Cheltenham.

She uncovers a secret that begins am explosive chain of events that will ignite an international firestorm, expose a vast political conspiracy and put Gun and her family directly in harm’s way.

Ravensthorpe Village Cinema have been presenting films at the Village Hall since September 2016 and in 2017 BLF funded a high-quality 7-speaker, audio-visual system and an installed 3.5m screen.

There are no membership requirements and they invite people from Ravensthorpe and surrounding villages to enjoy varied screenings. Capacity is in excess of 70, but the room is often filled and advance booking is advised.
